I got my first camera when I was 11 years old! I am mainly self taught, but have taken high school and collegiate photography classes. I take lots of pictures for fun, but I also am a photographer for Utah State's newspaper, the Utah Statesman! I have also written and taught 2 photography camps for Thanksgiving Point's Summer Camps program.
This class is perfect for you or your child who wants to get to know photography or to continue to improve current skills! This class will give you/your child lots of fun, hands-on practice.
+ We will learn the basics about cameras, displaying art in photography, take all types of photos from portraits to landscapes, plus learn about social media safety and how to stay cool on the internet!
+ I have a few cameras, but it is strongly encouraged you brings one of your own! You will have more hands on practice and the chance to keep practicing at home!
+ We will take a couple field trips to parks, but will stay in a group the whole time.
+ Classes will be an hour long and will offered various dates and times during June-August.
+ The cost is $15/person
